[[MOnday, Tuesday & Wednesday]]

hihi.. haven't been blogging for the past few days, however, i will go through in details wat i did for the past few days in this entry.. sit back and enjoy.. hee hee~~ maybe will be a bit "lor sor" lah.. hahaha

Monday

I went Bugis with my mum and we ate lunch @ the Rochor food center. There was this stall that my mum insisted to patronise. It was a prawn noodle stall, think it was called " San Ma Lu Xia Mian".. My mum said the stall had been selling prawn mee since she was young. She used to eat their food then. So we took a seat near that store and she ordered her prawn mee while i ate "yu bian mee fen". Wow, that store indeed attracted lots of customers. At about 1+ / 2 p.m. , they had already finished selling their prawn mee and was preparing to close up. They must be earning a lot man..

After lunch, we went upstairs.(above the hawker center where there is lots of dried food store selling mushroom, shrimps, ikan belis (dunnoe if i spelled tt correctly), sea cucumber etc) Mummy looked around and bought some stuff. Then we went OG and Bugis Junction. Hiaz, didn't get to buy any stuff, so sad..

Then my mum suggests to go to the wholesale center ard bugis. She didn't really know the exact location so we were like looking all over the place to find that wholesale center. Lucky my eyes were sharp (haha), i managed to see it. It was just opposite the Raffles hospital, think it was situated in Victoria Rd.. We walked round the whiolesale center and see what they had. This center mainly consist of dried food and party/biz used items. Saw a couple of shop selling the party/biz used items, cool man. Next time if i need any stuff can try looking up there. Lots of choices to choose from and u get bulk discount...

With all these walks, they marked the end of my day. Went home and was too tired to blog.

Tuesday

I woke up at 7 a.m. that day. Made my way for SMU at 8a.m and reached SMU ard 9 a.m. Went for the Career Service Orientation that day. Met Sihui and her friend (Yi Cui), both my SP senoirs, at the biz block and we proceed to the auditorium for a talk. First we had the welcome speech from someone (forgot whose tt.. hee hee~~) then a presentation on "Gaining a Professional Advantage". There was this talk by a lady who told us how we should distinguish ourself from under graduates when we looked for jobs. That was quite an inspiring talk. Will always remember this phrase, "Attitude Determines Altitude".

Then we learnt abt Networking. How we should network and the opportunities provided by the Career Service Center. We were given an unique coaster. There was six small parts that formed this coaster. Initially, everybody's coaster was made of one colour and there was a total of six different coloured coaster that were being distributed around. We had a game that made use of the coaster. We had to look around to find people who hold different coloured coaster as wat we were holding and exchanged one part of our coaster with him/her. In the end, we should had a colourful coaster with every small parts in a different colour. While exchanging the small parts, we would exchanged name and email address with the other party. The purpose of the whole game is to set us to network with each other. We get to know more people and increases our network of friends. Cool game rite?

Then we had a talk on the SMU's vission, mission and their branding.I personally think that their branding effort was quite successful, the series of advertising ads that were shown created awareness to the public about SMU mission and vission. Their slogans were great, like " WE Luvs SMU", "We Are Different" etc.. sounds cool... hee hee~~

We had lunch, and we ate at the Food Haven. After lunch, we had a presentation on Volunteerism, followed by a tour of the Career Resource Centre. Then we had a hands-on session on OnTRAC, a special programs used by the Career Service Center to communicate with students on community job and internship issues. Lastly, we attended a workshop on "FaceBeautiful" by Biotherm and next was Home Sweet Home.. yeah..

Wednesday

Woke up ard 8a.m. and accompany my mum to Chong Pang where we had breakfast there. Ate the fishball noodles, so yummy, priced @ $2, with 5 BIG fishballs..

Then we took the free shuttle bus over to Sembawang Shopping Center. Shopped in Giant and bought some stuff. I bought a Cheese Cake.. Yummy yummy.. nice nice..
